Explore the farms and artisans of Ashland and Southern Oregon.

Ashland’s four-season mild climate offers one of the longest growing seasons, totaling 170 days starting April 30th.  Ashland is also the top 13 most bio-diverse region in the world at the convergence of the Cascade and Siskiyou Mountain ranges.

This climate and growing capacity lends itself to an amazing array of fresh produce you can find at the local Rogue Valley Growers and Crafters Market , Ashland's restaurants, wineries and local grocery stores. The Rogue Valley Food System Network works with farmers and local food producers to encourage one to Buy Local- Buy Rogue, offering CSA’s and promotion through Rogue Flavor campaigns and eat local week each September.

Get out and explore the abundant agritourism offerings in our region.  Follow the Rogue Valley Food Trail or attend Brews, Bluegrass and BBQ each June.  Explore Willow Witt ranch, set on a picturesque 440 acres up in the high country, where you can do a farm-stay or just visit for the day.

Innovation is at the 'root' of our farmers and food artisans that produce a variety of products that are sold locally so you can taste and enjoy either at restaurants or specialty shops. Visit Branson’s Chocolates or Scharffen Berger Chocolates, take a days drive to the Rogue Creamery 's dairy and farm stand in Grants Pass or enjoy one of the best grilled cheeses in the world at their Central Point location!  Ashland's bakeries are worth the trip to taste their amazing creations.  To see a complete list click here
